An Introduction to JIB Crane
Jib crane is mainly used pitching rotation around the vertical axis to lifting goods, with features of flexible action to meet the loading requirements. Floor mounted crane, potable articulated crane and wall JIB crane are several top JIB cranes. Floor mounted crane is fixed directly on the dock or pier base library field, and can only work in situ. Portable jib crane runs along the surface of the track or residence, the main line of cranes are tire cranes, crawler cranes and gantry cranes. The various JIB cranes are installed on a dedicated machine on the derrick barge, widely used in ocean, river ports and port construction loading doors and other work.
This type of crane consists of a pivoting head and boom assembly which carries a hoist and trolley unit. The pivoting head is supported either by a floor-mounted mast providing 360 degree boom rotation or by an existing building column which provides 180 degrees of boom rotation.
